One of the best sushi (and much more) restaurants in the world. The Michelin Guide defines a 3 star restaurant as one where one should travel from anywhere in the world to visit. After our first time there, we travelled again to Osaka from Europe just to go back. Amazing!
It's expensive.
Best sushi I ever had, possibly the best meal I ever had. Sushi Yoshi isn't your typical sushi restaurant. The chef serves more than just edo-mae style sushi. He combines different ingredients to make the most delicious dishes. The sushi chef is also a super cool guy. There was a couple who came in an hour late and he still served them, even making up for the dishes they missed. That is great service. He is also able to speak some English and is very friendly. The bill could become quite steep though. We were a party of 3 and we each drank 2 glasses of sake as well as a few glasses of water. The bill came out to just around $1000. However, for a 2-star Michelin restaurant, it is well worth it.

Despite sushi being part of the restaurant name, it's not your traditional sushi restaurant. It's more like modern Japanese with some sushi elements. If it isn't pure sushi one is looking for, it will surprise one with very innovative dishes made from ingredients sourced from all over Japan.

Best uni we are likely to try anywhere. Pricey, but definitely worth it for nearly four hours and roughly 16 courses of very high standard food.
It was our family's 1st time in Osaka, reknown for its food. And we were not disappointed, we had dinner at Sushi Yoshi, and it was fantastic. We had the Omakase and every dish was like a work of art. My kids, who shared the same menu as the adults, loved every bit of it. Hope their tastes don't get used to such high quality food.The Chef and his staff were fantastic, very attentive and explained all the dishes. Thank you so much for having us

Chef Hiroki is highly passionate about serving the freshest and the most creative dishes. He is very warm and friendly. Definitely worth making a booking at this restaurant.

Definitely worth a try 👍When I arrived at the door, I thought that I was not open, and I was in a restless mood. As a result, three people had eaten again. The appetizers at the beginning felt ordinary but every dish after the official start was amazing. I ate several unforgettable dishes in succession. After the cooking, I thought that I ended up thinking that the chef suddenly took out the fish and rice and started to pinch the sushi. (The original sushi was about to start.) After eating a lot of sushi, I ended up with the result. The chef took a few fish and went out. The smoked outside of the meal is the end of the meal, and the final meal is also admired by the chef's creative cuisine.P.S I don't know why the supermarkets also sell beer that is especially good in the restaurant...
STUNNING. Brought two friends here, and each said it was the best meal of their lives. The chef is very personable and speaks English quite decently. It's not a cheap course, at around Y30,000/person, but it is definitely one of the most memorable meals I've ever had. From the three types of seared tuna steak, to the many types of sushi and sashimi, to cooking marshmallows by an open fire in the street (don't let the name fool you--this goes waaaay beyond sushi alone), this truly is an experience if you're a die-hard foodie like me. (It's a small, eight-seat restaurant, so reservations far in advance are usually required.)

Not a usual Sushi meal. Chef Hiroki infused his culinary influences from France and other Asian countries into his creations. The ingredients are always some of the best in the season. Highly recommended.

What a meal! Would go back again and again. Fascinating approach to sushi, amazing flavors, unbelievable technique. A truly memorable meal and experience. Chef Hiroki is masterful and playful and knows how to make his fresh products truly shine. No show, no glam, a simple space. Just great food, really good sake and a truly inspiring chef.
After all beer is Heartland.The atmosphere is good. He came from Hong Kong on both sides.Nice English conversation for the general.

It is definitely delicious and you can do it yourself in front of the chef. Not all dishes are perfect, but more than 80% of the menu is completely satisfactory. But it's too expensive and it's hard to book. Only 8 people can book a day
